Perfect Mama + is a TENS unit designed to provide pain relief in labour and has the additional benefit of a contraction timer. It can also be used to aid the production of breast milk, help combat menstrual pains and for pain relief post-partum.
Maternity TENS machines are medically proven to be safe and effective, therefore they can be combined with other pain relief in labour practices such as waterbirth. Perfect Mama+ is a portable and easy to use tool and even your partner can participate in helping to apply it.
This is the most modern approach to pain relief in labour known today, highly recommended by midwives and health care proefessionals. Even after you’ve given birth you will find Perfect Mama+ remaining just as relevant for it works miracles when providing smoother postpartum recovery. In other words, this is not a traditional maternity TENS unit that will only be used during labour – it will be useful for long after.
Our drug-free childbirth pain relief TENS unit is approved by Health Canada, as well as its use being proven scientifically. Additionally, as a safety feature, it has an open circuit system integrated, which means if the electrode does not have full contact, the power will be cut off automatically.
